Big Sherman and now Little Sherman.

Been out all day and just got in. This is just what I was thinking. ^^^

Best CB duo we have had in a long time.

How about Walt Harris and carols Rogers

If we only we could of paired a Mike Rumph in his prime with Jimmie Ward....Championship

Don't forget nasty Nate

nate clements was my first ever niner jersey.....

With how many injuries we've had the last few seasons, we're due a regression to the mean. Maybe the FO is gambling that such a regression means even some previously-injury-prone players will be uncharacteristically healthy this year

Sadly my memory of clements was getting that int in Atlanta only to get stripped from behind and then lose the game. Those were dark dark days

Didn't Dre Bly do the same thing that year? Except his was worse cause he was high stepping as he got stripped lol
Only played one full season , once, in 2015

I doubt anyone is expecting a full season from him. Over/Under is probably 9 games. He's at best our CB2.
I cant imagine how hard it is to battle year after year with injuries and live a life rehabbing. Kudos to him for keeping his dream alive. There had to be moments of self doubt, but everything sounds like the guy is grinding to prove he deserves a shot. I like rooting for the underdog and I will be pulling for this kid along with everyone else to be safe and keep grinding for something they are passionate about.

We call ourselves the "Faithful" but we forget the human element at times with these men. They put their bodies on the line to play a game they love and I guarantee that they have their emotional battles to keep pushing forward. I see their stories and hear their passion. Time to show our faith and support for these men.

No one wants to see injuries yet they occur. We show sympathy, but also frustration when they reoccur. I am guilty of the latter, but I rather believe and support all of them, Jimmy Ward included :) Our roster is full of players who were forced to overcome turmoil like injuries, and some have been successful in embracing the challenge, while others are working thru them and I can't wait to see their comeback stories. As of now, I am keeping the faith!!!

Welcome: Jason Verrett, Jordan Matthews, Dee Ford, Kwon Alexander!!! As well as the rest of the roster, good luck with the grind and cheers to 2019!!!

Yes and f**king Roddy White did it to both times (different seasons)
Oh and when Bly was high stepping they were down by like 30 late in the game lol

Must suck. When you're constantly rehabbing and just trying to get back on the field in time, when do you ever have time to get stronger or faster?
Low Risk-High reward signing. Not that there were a lot of other available options.

I was so Damn excited when we signed him and over the next couple years I kept making excuses on why he's so awesome even though he played above average. He was excellent against the run at least

Wasn't that Dré Bly? Edit....damn I guess that also happened with Nate. I must of repressed that memory
