It was in Shanahan's presser from today. For the record, he didn't seem concerned. It's about 6:10 into the video.

Well he confirmed it was plantar fasciitis, f**king unbelievable. I hope he can play through it and it doesn't get worse. With our luck that's not realistic. I guess our front office wasn't as concerned with his injury history as I was.

Man, how many different injuries has got him missing games?

He's talking about Greenlaw and Verrett and mentions 'hip and plantar fffff'. It's not clear which guy has what.

No, but this tweet from Barrows indicates it's Verrett.

I am kind of baffled on how Kyle can used Minor and plantar fasciitis in the same sentence. Is there a minor plantar fasciitis and major one? Because Kyle made it seem like it wasn't serious at all and have him back next week.

Cause JV plays on the balls of his feet not on his heels…

Maybe Kyle misspoke and it's actually plantar facetious, the less serious cousin of plantar fasciitis.
So maybe now is it time to trade a defensive lineman for a corner? Unbelievable. A top 10 corner that's injured every single year. People were saying he was not injured last year but seem to forget he missed the first three games of the season. We would've easily beat the Cardinals game one if he was playing against Hopkins who he completely shut down the next time we played them. What a f**king joke.

No, there is such thing as minor plantar fasciitis depending on the severity of the injury.

I hate to be a Debbie Downer, but when it comes to injuries, minor and Jason Verrett don't mix.

It seems like he's had every injury in the book.

I posted this in the Team Needs thread, that hopefully some decent vet CB get cut and we're able to at least pick one up. I've heard several posters mention that the Dolphins are deep at CB, if so I hope we can snatch one up. We were already thin at CB before the Verett news and I wouldn't want to rely on Lenoir and Moseley to lock it down.
You can play with plantar fasciitis, its very common. Jfc guys…
