Not sure what his offers looked like during the offseason but I thought Verrett took a gamble with a one year deal. I feel as though some team out there must have offered a short multiyear. No way he gets anything multiyear now.
I thought he said a team did and he choose to stay. Tough break for his career.
I recall the Jets giving a multi year offer and decided to stay with us. I hope the organization takes care of him. Get better soon!

Should be his last snap here. Feel bad but we need to get away from injury prone players.

It sucks for him, I feel for him. No one knows the future, so I won't speculate about it. Just a s**tty situation for him.

Congrats shanny. Kept your starters in at 41-16, and got them hurt and nearly blew it. What a game manager he is

Did anyone feel comfortable with Verrett being able to stay health all year. Should never have been our go to corner. Best ability is availability. Now we are screwed. I guess the philosophy of stacking the front seven while limiting the resources at DB will be put to the test.

It's not the fact that he got injured. We all knew he would at some point. But the poor guys luck. Plays his one healthy season when we had a throwaway season with beadhard and Mullins then tears his acl on the next season when we have a legitimate chance at the ship. This guys career is constant heart break.

Guy was loyal and a baller. Very rare in this age. Best luck to him in his future careers. Seems like a smart man he will be successful in whatever he chooses to do

What a blow for this guy. Stinks, especially after the year he put together last year.

What a blow to him. What a blow to the Niners. Oh man. Please let the injury bug stop. I hope he recovers to at least have a normal life.
