Makes sense. He's not being counted on, but if he's healthy, he's definitely in competition for a starting spot.
5 guys would have to get hurt for a Josh Norman type CB to ever see the field in 2022.
Nice. Not counting on him being healthy, but if he is they have a nice little CB room

If he can just stay healthy this year...I like him and Ward as starting CBs on this D.
great signing

literally no risk and a huge reward signing. Let him heal and rehab and bring him in when we need him.

Damn if only he can stay healthy. Him and Ward would be awesome with Moseley in the slot!!!!
We all saw this coming....even if he doesn't become a stud again, he's a great locker room guy and makes that room better.

Agreed. Hopefully, he can rehab and contribute in some way
Good move from the FO. Last year the guy turned down a 2 year deal to stay with them on a 1 year deal He got hurt early. I wonder when he'll be ready. Also wonder if we can move him to the slot. Limits reps
If healthy, going to be same nice competition between Thomas, Verrett and Moseley for that #2 corner spot.

Yea, it's not a mistake to take a chance on him. It's only a mistake if we rely on him (like last year).
I like it
Man! If he can come back solid, then I feel good about the Outside CB position. Ward should take one side, and then it's either Moseley, second-year Thomas, or a returning Verrett. I hope Thomas or Verrett win that, and then the other two will provide quality depth. You can never have too many good cornerbacks.

At the Slot CB position... hmm... Looks like Lenoir, Moseley?, and rookie Samuel Womack will be competing for that? Slot feels a little more ambiguous, but it's critical if we're going to play Cooper Kupp twice a year. McVay moves him around formationally quite a bit.
