I may be wrong, but Moseley never struck me as a good slot corner.

Then if Verrett does well this season, he may leave and Ambry will be an inexperienced 3rd year player. Like the signing though. When Verrett is on his game, he's a beast.
Finally some good free agent news.
Um I think your trying hard to find a downside where there is none. We play whoever helps us win. Nobody budgets development snaps when a game is still a game.
Besides Verret probably wont be ready to go until later in the fall. Hope he's got one more comeback in him.

Best news I've heard all off-season. I pray he stays healthy this year.
Strong CB room at the moment

Can't understand why people are remotely jazzed about this or have any sort of expectation.
His body is broken. This man's career is over. He's played one season out of the past 30. This signing is a complete non-factor. He's getting the Dee Ford treatment and collecting a paycheck on an exercise bike.
Seems like a nice dude and was great for that ONE season. But that was the exception, not the rule. He's 31 on busted legs that require quick stop and redirection.
I don't know why they signed other than his vet presence and out of the kindness of their hearts.

If he is a willing and healthy CB #4 that will contribute to special teams, then it's an outstanding signing. 15-20 reps in a game, max.
Put DJ and a rookie on the practice squad.

Should be fun watching them all compete this season. Last years draft class, and this years. Nice to the F.O trying to Improve the CB group.

Your posting in the wrong thread. You want the jimmy thread. That's where kvetchers go.

Special teams, exactly where you want an injury prone player to be. 🤣
I'll be interested to see if this is more of a calculated signing in which he starts on pup and the niners have a vet like him to call on if injuries hit the cb room the first several weeks of the season or is he going to be healthy enough to compete for a spot during training camp? I'm anxious to hear more insight on this resigning from the team.

With a relatively young group I'm glad he's back, but at the same time I'm not expecting much. Any production out of JV will be gravy.
