True, but difference was back then he was essentially coming off of 3 straight missed seasons with major injuries and There was a lot of rust.
Doesn't his age start to play a factor at some point? I am hoping for the best like everyone else but tempering expectations. Dude is 31. All of those years on IR may have kept the mileage low, but Father Time does not GAF.
Honestly he was a low risk high reward signing. If he can even rotate in thats a plus.
Coming back from a torn ACL at 31, after suffering previous season-ending injuries, shouldn't inspire a lot of expectation from him.
But we signed him to a minimal contract with no guaranteed money. If he earns his spot on a team with Ward, Moseley, Thomas, and Lenoir... I feel good about it, even if he's not as effective as his 2020 self.
