Sorry that doesn't fit the Grant Cohn narrative. I mean Grants always kept it 💯 when talking about JV. Like before the 2020 season how he didn't even think JV should be allowed on the preseason roster cause how bad he looked.

The guy is a fine corner with major injury problems over the years. These are not his fault and I don't see he deserves this sort of abuse, particularly not from a poster who names himself after another player with huge injury problems.

Injuries are part of the LUCK factor of the NFL and most professional sports, including the draft, chemistry, FA and officiating.. you just never know.. sometimes even with injuries you can still win the SB.. Lambs loss Robert Woods last year and still won the SB, granted they traded for a bunch of vets for example OBJ etc, but as long as you have your solid core players intact, you can make it and have a chance.. now if the 9ers keep losing key players yeah they will be in trouble but they have better CB options going forward this year vs last year now that Eman is gone for the season.

if you see Verrett play and think he is a bad CB you obviously dont understand the game of football

When healthy he is without a doubt a better cover corner than Eman but Eman is more physical and better tackler/run defender
