Him not being out was the right move. Thomas and Lenoir need the playing time and I honestly feel like Thomas matches up well with the Rams guys.

Thomas and Lenoir are young players, but they seem to be developing well. I know Thomas reportedly had a weak training camp, but hopefully he just keeps grinding.

If those two can hold the fort and give Verrett the time he needs to get his feet under him, that bodes well. If Verrett comes back anywhere near his 2020 self, that bodes well because he and Moonie Ward would make for an outstanding CB1 and CB2 duo.

I hope he comes back decent and healthy. I feel so bad for JV. You can tell he genuinely gives 100% effort to get back on the field.
