Def sucks for the guy. Wasn't holding my breath for him to come back and suddenly be a lockdown again but damn, anything would've been better than this. It's an odd feeling being severely disappointed when you weren't expecting much of anything at all. Not disappointed in him, I was just hoping he could revive his career.

Just had to say he's more hurt than Mosthurt & more brittle than Kittle
Kittle gets hurt because he plays like a battering ram. Wtf are you talking about brittle

I've always said I don't "feel bad" when players have a tough loss or whatever because at the end of the day they are still super rich and get to play a game for a living so how bad can it be?
Verrett is one where it is gut-wrenching. Yes he is still gonna be fine financially (assuming he didn't do anything too stupid) but to work your entire life and be so devoted and have the talent to be an All Pro only to spend years of your prime years in pain and rehab and then probably walk with pain and a limp for the next 50 years is brutal.

Hamstring injury in practice is not from playing like a battering ram.

Well, that didn't take long. I can't even imagine what he must be going through. Hopefully he will finally come to the realization that his body is used up and retire.

I still can't believe we lost 2 starting corners...2 great corners to season ending injuries. It boggles my mind how talented this team can be if they all play together one game. It's like collecting the infinity stones and one day having them all together.

Except it's happened 7x to JV with season ending injuries. Klays 2x was bad and unexpected the day before the season.

Multiply this by 2, and you would be correct.

His body just wasn't built to last in the NFL. Its a shame, considering his ability, but it just wasn't meant to be.

It's a damn shame how these dumb ass fans are ripping JV kicking the man when he's down to the point Deebo and Jesse Sapolu have to speak out on it.
