Hey think about it like reverse psychology, he should wear 21. If Frankie G approves maybe it could bring Verrett better luck than what he's had to this point. Frank had multiple injury concerns just getting drafted and has been as durable as you could ever hope for, so Verrett wearing his number might bring positive karma.

This is false. Our CBs are taught to play the ball when "in phase" with the receiver. It's just that guys like Kello were frequently getting stacked or straight out beat.
The competition will be good this year. Ahkello and Colbert thought they arrived their rookie seasons and had the proverbial reality check. They got humbled and we'll see how they respond.

Can't believe I'm going to say this but one thing the cowboys did right is honoring there HOFs by putting there last names and not retiring numbers

That makes more sense than retiring numbers. You have limited numbers available for each position group so if you're an older , successful franchise you could run out of numbers.

i care. Some numbers look ugly on players depending on their position.

i think it helps make a look of a player. Since our players care, we should care.

I kind of wish Breida would give up his 22 for Verrett and he jus take a difference number.

ok, we will just agree to disagree on the importance of a number! i would rather look at the body of work the player did while he played for us. what he wore means nothing to me . now sure if you had a lawrence phillips come in here and want 21, well i will make an exception
