I dig it. The coaches apparently stopped thinking that a CB must be over 6 feet. If a CB can cover, he can play.
Didn't KittleMeThis call this one after hearing from his buddy who knows Verrett?
Verrett's due for some good fortune...he's had more than his share of injuries, but there's no doubt the talent's abundant. Welcome to the Niners, Jason and best wishes for a healthy season.
Low risk, high reward me likey

What's the health story on this guy, ACL?

ACL a few years ago then and Achilles and little bumps here and there. But dude can freaking play
Lynch is turning into Baalke 2.0 with these ACL signings

It's about damn time!
But an ACL, a knee, then an achilles, that seems like a lot to overcome.

Nice. Lynch said he can play inside and outside. Good signing.

Yes if he stays healthy. His career has been the definition of injury prone. Hopefully his luck will change and he can salvage a once promising career.

Dude they're paying him 3.6m. Low risk really high reward.

Just wondering why he's had a tough time getting back on the field. I agree, low risk, high reward if he can get on the field.

Also, he knows concepts of this scheme in playing/learning the last two years under Bradley.
If ever you guys see him around SC or SJ, press the button for him when he crosses the st...we need him healthy! Lol.. love this signing, very physical corner.
Nice signing. Hopefully he stays healthy like others have mentioned. I like that the 49ers have filled positions of need already. Would have liked for them to spend less money but it comes as long as they perform then its all good.

Why? It's such a low risk man. All these 1 yr deals are great, see who rises to the top and if not doesn't hurt then LT.

Yep. Posters here were complaining that we took no risks, no gambles. Well, signing Verrett is like finding a bundle of poker chips. You play the game. If you lose, you haven't lost anything much. But you could win, big time. Great deal, great signing. Go Lynch, Paraag.
