I really hope he can stay heathy but the Dude hasn't been able to stay heathy, so I'm hoping we are not depending on him for the year

Joe Perry's number 34 has been retired for a while.

Dude seems like a douche. He comes to a new team, not having done crap in 3 years. Essentially an injury ridden bust, and starts demanding unavailable numbers? Who does he think he is? Tries to get Gore's number, then demands to wear a retired number until the regular season when someone gets cut? I hope HE gets cut. SMH.

Just pick an available number and prove you have any career left dude.

He's played 5 of his teams last 48 games. How about play half a season before you go trying to unretire numbers.

I'm in a minority here because of the $$ situation,...but i still wonder if Ward is with the team come opening day.

Listening to Dr. David Chao the other day...he was the Chargers team doctor for yrs. he wasn't allowed to get into details about Verrett's injuries because of hipaa rules...he did say that everyone in LA said Verrett had some of the best footwork they've ever seen.

If and that's a big if, he can have a healthy season he's a top 10 CB.
