The internet (and fan opinions contained therein) are not real life.

Real life is being ranked 31st in injuries since 2014. We've never ranked higher than 23rd. Hopefully we can be at 16th this year. That would be a huge improvement and give us a fighting chance.

Hopefully this new staff helps turn that around.

Nope. Trend started in 2014 at Candlestick.

Need more yoga type exercises that increases dexterity. Muscle mass actually limits flexibility. Lean muscle mass is more functional than bulk.

Hopefully. I know Staley is doing it with McGlinchey. It helps not drafting and bringing in FA's who have injuries or resigning guys or counting on proven oft-injured players too.

It's hard to knock that hustle because we would have never had Frank Gore without it. Its a way to find value in players.

Walt Harris comes to mind too. Low risk high reward players. Hopefully Jason can be Harris 2.0.

Seriously dam I'm sick of this injury stuff 4-5 years running. Part of it is the niners fault for keeping injured players but a huge part is just random. If we could just keep jimmy g healthy he makes the offense, ol and defense all look better. I say 9-10 wins with just jimmy healthy all year and a few too many injuries here and there like always

2014 was the first year at Levi's

I certainly hope so. Verrett healthy and fully back to form would be huge for us. Like Sherman, hopefully he can play at 80% this year for the full year and then tear it up next year...oops...wrong phrase.

Oh you're right. Thanks for that correction. I was thinking it was Harbaugh's last year here but that was at Levi's.

It would be huge alright. I'm actually fine with him sitting most of the year and if we are in contention for a playoff spot we turn him loose. I'm probably more patient than most though.

That's not funny

Yeah, randomly unlucky for 5 straight years.

I just finished my annual injury analysis.

To put your point into perspective, in 2017, Chicago was ranked as the 2nd most injured team. They finished 5-11. Last year, they were the 3rd healthiest. They finished 12-4 and won their division.

ShanaLynch addressing the medical and training staff may end up being the single most important move they made this off season. Seriously.

It's certainly a theory worth diving into.

Haha. That's not a bad approach. Throw Witherspoon or Moore a bone and if they prove they can't cut it, give Verrett the job after coming off the PUP.

So very true! I have to hear that s**t from my twin brother who is a diehard Bears fan. I keep telling him your offense isn't that good especially your quarterback that will cost them imo. You are right health is the primary concern for the niners not talent anymore
