Yea, we were also the worst pass defense in the league on passes thrown in under 2 seconds. Pass rush has nothing to do with that.

When the QB is comfortable that the pass rush doesn't exist, he doesn't need to get rid of the ball under 2 seconds unless it is an absolute good look. If he think the pass rush is strong, he may get rid of the ball quickly even if it may not be a good lock.

When the pass rush doesn't exist, the QB is a lot easier to gets to a rhythm.

So I would say pass rush is a factor even for throws under 2 seconds. Exactly how significant is that factor, that is subject for debate.

Don't need pass rush to clearly see Ahkello blatantly giving guys free, uninhibited releases from press alignment(in case you forgot: Ahkello is 6'3" 200 lbs) or easy underneath passes from off-zone because he's got s**t awareness and instincts.

how does that explain numerous missed tackles and blown assignments,. things that are fundamental to thier game and has nothing to do with pass rush. oh. and then it was presided over by a dips**t dc who lost us the green bay game for example. here we know the packers have a long ways to go with no time outs. here we know they will use the sidelines. so here by all f**king means. lets let them use the sidelines. have them carve us up and once again lose a winnable game. of course the fact that kyle is the head of the rattlesnake and should have gotten baldy out of that defense is beside the point
