Yeah I wish there was a Cornerback we coulda drafted that would have the other starting spots locked down. Maybe a player very similar to Verrett. That played at Louisville. I love Verrett and been back on his bandwagon since it looked like the Chargers wouldn't resign him. But he is a risk to put a lot of faith into.

Not too worried. This year we can evaluate if we get past pro bowl Verrett and if Ahkello has what it takes. The 2020 CB class is much better than 2019. Top notch free agent corners isn't available often

I agree, if we hit on Verrett then our D can be top 10

edit: only if our Dline is not covering wheel routes

hopefully the pass rush gets to winston and he just reverts to being a well below avg qb, who has an affinity for throwing pick 6s

I think if Verrett is healthy hes starting game 1, but I would say 1-2 games.

Sounds like he won't be active week 1 if I'm reading Salehs answers correct. Just doesn't have the movement back just yet but he's close very close.
