Truth is, no one really knows what the coaches have planned or how they actually see their depth chart. If I had to guess what the plan is, it seems that they are saving Verrett for as long as they can and as long as Witherspoon continues to look solid.
The coaches see what Verrett can do in practice, I'm sure they don't mind stashing him for a while.

So, as soon as Witherspoon reverts to his old self - Varrett is in there. I guess you can't take Spoon out right now - he's just playing too good.
