Truth is, no one really knows what the coaches have planned or how they actually see their depth chart. If I had to guess what the plan is, it seems that they are saving Verrett for as long as they can and as long as Witherspoon continues to look solid.

The coaches see what Verrett can do in practice, I'm sure they don't mind stashing him for a while.

So, as soon as Witherspoon reverts to his old self - Varrett is in there. I guess you can't take Spoon out right now - he's just playing too good.

Having a good CB waiting in the wings is always a good thing. I also think we probably save Verrett until week 3

Just save him for when we face the Patriots in the SB, especially if Brown is still around...he can cover AB no sweat.

I would imagine they're going to try and ease him back in so he can play a role in second half of season if needed.

If brown isn't found guilty of rape
Spoon looked too good last week to even think about benching him. He looks like the best corner on the team so far. You can't coach that kind of rangy size and athleticism. I don't think it is a coincidence that he made a jump like this after a position coaching change. Consistent pass rush doesn't hurt either.

You truly underestimate how good Verrett is when he's healthy, just check out the game when he was on Brown in San Diego some years back.

We talking about AB, not Crabtree here. Sorry, but Verrette aint in the same league as AB.

Or in college he was covering this receiver at LSU and absolutely locked him down. What was his name something like Odell Beckman senior something like that
Lol...either way, its not like we are making the SB so this discussion is dumb.
