Just needs to be worked back into playing. Hopefully Akhello is healthy and Verrett can play a few snaps on MNF. I hope we get a huge lead and can play him extensively so that he is up to his standards by the Rams game. With the combination of our D-line, if we have Sherman being Sherman and Verrett being 2015 Verrett, along with Akhello, the Rams offense will be in trouble.

As it turns out this was his first real action in a couple years...I'm not really surprised by the result especially with no safety help... Just gotta find a way to have him contribute during not-so-crucial moments until he's back up to speed.
If they can stay healthy, this secondary is going to be really hard to throw on by the end of the year regardless of pass-rush assistance....

Sorry, that's not the way the league works, you are either one of the 46 best players on gameday or you aren't.
Emmanuel Moseley is clearly better at the moment, and I'm glad they realised in time not to cost us the game. It wouldn't surprise me if Verrett ended up on IR. Sherm needed a year removed from Achilles surgery and it looks like Verrett does as well.

He said he was in the lead and that things would be decided in practice leading up to the game.
