What I took from Kyle's presser is, it would be Mosley to start unless Verrett shows more in practice. And from Kyle's description, Mosely sounds like a smart dude

I hope he's smart. But then what else would Kyle say. He doesn't have a lot of options.

We gonna find out big time on Monday night b/c he'll probably be covering OBJ a lot.

He is still injury his running cuz he gave up a guy after 2 plays. I wonder. He is still injury his legs because his running was slow or something?

After re-watching both bad plays I have hope by boy can still be a very good corner. The first play he was stride for stride with the receiver in really good position to help the safety with outside leverage and should have had and was expecting safety help. Honestly it was a good penalty as he saw he didn't have help and took away 6. Though he would give em 6 on the following play. The second play he got lazy so no excuse for that but he peeked and probably thought he was good at the exact wrong moment. Didn't seem to be struggling with the speed which was my initial reaction. The second was really bad. But I have faith he will get his swagger back.

He didnt get beat because of a physical limitation, he got beat because of a mental mistake. He wouldn't be playing if he was still hurt.

Im not gonna lie they should trade for Ramsay hes worth it 2 firsts is kinda steep tho but id give next years 1st for him especially if Skule can be developed into a good tackle. Cut jerrick mckinnon pay the dead money and give the rest to Ramsay i kno Buckner is first priority to resign and we could wait another year before resigning kittle. But maaaaan if we could get Ramsay our defense will be #1.

I love me some Ramsey but we're number 2 in defense without him. I do not see it happening

Well i pray it happens, hopefully Lynch can mouthpiece something. Our secondary would be A1 for the next 5 years at least.

Not that I want to give up on Verrett, it's just that Moseley has been with the team longer and in limited action shown he can move better at this time than Verrett. I also don't think the team would hesitate to even use Ward over Verrett at CB if they feel he's not ready. Had JV even had practice reps over the past month?

I like Ramsey but 2 1sts is ridiculous and we all know JL isn't doing that. .

Yes Verretts plays were pretty bad on sunday.
But like he said it's been 3 years, give him a chance to get back in game mode.
i'm not giving up on him yet.

There are always people that want the Niners to get every free agent or every unhappy player without looking at salary cap implications or whether we really have the draft picks to make the deal. If we were really one player away from the SB like the Chiefs or some other top team then maybe you make the deal. We aren't that close. We need to address the O line next year as well as the DB's and maybe LB. A star receiver is also still missing. Quit pretending we're an elite team because we're not there yet.

Ramsey isn't happening. Here's hoping Verrett steps up.
