Verrett had his chance the last game. Laid 2 big ass eggs. He needs to regain the coaches confidence, starting from the bench

agree. they have seen a entire body of crap from ward and yet they still love the bum. 2 plays is not enough to bench a guy

Moseley has played well this year whenever he's been on the field. He's gotten snaps inside and out and hasn't been a liability, so add that to being healthy, and it's clear why he's the front-runner.

Agree Moseley was solid every position he played in preseason I think there is confidence in him with the staff. And with Landry possibly missing this game he may match up better with there taller wrs.
Mosely is absolutely better at this point. Verrett has to prove he can still run.

You'd think they would put them against Goodwin at practice and make the decision. I have faith in what I've seen.

I like Verrett but he's just not there athletically at the moment, and unlike our coaching staff I am basing that from two plays. Who wants a 75 yarder to OBJ or Callaway on the first play?

Also, that's 2 plays where Verrett completely s**t the bed. A penalty after falling on his ass, and a play where he was literally fixated ont he QB rather than watching his man. 2 absolutely awful plays that justify the fact that he's not ready to start. Period.

First play he was supposed to have safety help. He took outside leverage like you're supposed to do in zone. Cause your help is inside. Throw was to the inside and without safety help he's toast. He tripped him up to stop a TD.

Second play he has no excuse for. Pretty clear he was in good position then peeked back at the QB looking at the right side of the field and figured he wasn't coming his way so he got lazy and let up. No excuse for that. Guarantee it won't happen again.
They just put Verrett on IR. Hurd too. Damn
how does verrett get in 2 plays and gets put on IR? dude is made out of glass
since we basically invested nothing in verrett, we dont need to cut ties, but i dont think he ever starts a game for us
then they bring back one of the sorriest cbs in dontae johnson smh
This fool can't stay healthy. Wasn't really counting on him but still disappointing.
