Come on man, have some sympathy and respect for him. He was an elite db before injury. Now he's injured and may not play again in the nfl.

he was not one of our guys. he was a interloper. so that is good enough for some to not have a open mind. basing him off two players is so stupid. and then the team keeps ward and resigns johnson

Dude is worse than Ward when it comes to injuries unfortunately. Just is what it is
Verrett may end up just retiring after this season. And here I was hoping he started this week.

ward taught him how to use the system
The fact that the front office expected anything other than this outcome is just plain stupid. Anyone could have told you this guy was done.

Waste of time and a roster spot. Should have brought someone who was actually proven, healthy and reliable. Now it's biting us with friggin Moseley in the starting lineup. Lynch is not a bright man.

Pretty much. Low cost, didn't work out. He'll be a free agent again in March.

"Lynch is not a bright man" ......................okay......................and the almost 40 other new guys we got on the team, the 3-0 team, unhhhh....why when he brot all that talent in with kyle ....is he Not Bright?

Bubba...suggest you check the roster and then tell us why GM Lynch is "not bright" . Are you sure you got the right team?

Oh, or maybe the start to the season is due to divine intervention? C'mon, saying things like Lynch is not a bright man is just plain goofy. He is one helluva GM /head of football ops/ face of the franchise,...or whatever other handle you wish to attach to him. But "not bright"? All evidence points to your being wrong. Just take a quick gander at our roster and then tell us Lynch is not bright. Cripes .

One last thing. John Lynch was hired by (probably) Denise York our owner, perhaps Jed but my money is on Denise...and what was he hired for? To find out why this franchise had become the toilet bowl of the NFL. Lynch was secretly hired to figure out exactly what was wrong with the team/franchise, and to suggest fixes. When he did a thorough inspection, he reported back, and F.O favored hiring him to help fix all that was wrong with the 49ers. Kyle also wanted him so it was a slam dunk. And he fixed the things wrong with the 49ers adn now 2 1/4 yrs later we are on the upswing. That is not what "not very bright men" would do. Lynch is as smart as a whip, has helped put together a hot shot team, knows everybody in the league, managers, HC, owners, virtually all NFL players and most of the talented collegiate ones.

Please don't put John Lynch in the league of "not very brite men"...he was the one the family went to figure out what had happened to your 9ers and then to fix it. And in case you hadn't noticed...he did.
THAT is John Lynch.

He's done playing probably
Cut our losses, he's thru. Need to trade for a good CB for depth.

What a douche he was for complaining about what jersey number he wanted, to play 2 players, suck, then get on IR. What a b*tch.

Eggcellent...He'll be well rested for the playoff run.

Lol. Hope for the best, expect the worst. Disappointed but not surprised at all. He's done.
