Camp body. Familiar with the system. Most likely for the minimum. I'll be more upset if he makes the opening day (whenever the hell that will be) roster.

He may never be the same player he once was but for the vet minimum why not. Low risk, high reward.

Not guaranteed. If he doesn't make the final roster he's gone. All these low level signings at this time of year really cost nothing. They're like the stock market. You don't make or lose any money until you sell.

This is my take on it as well. I want him back because he's gonna be really cheap but he also might be done in the NFL all together.
We shall see.
Called it!
I mean... when don't we call it.

There is ZERO downside to this. None.
This. At this point there isn't a high probability it amounts to anything big, but rolling the dice really doesn't hurt the team. If JV is willing to put himself out there again, I'm glad we're willing to give him one more shot.

Good point, thanks. Forgot that it's not guaranteed. That said, he makes the roster and gets hurt week 1. Lol

These moves are also made to disguise our draft intentions.

why would they resign him when he was terrible and never played? He's going to get 2 years of multi million dollar free contracts now? I don't get it.
