I guess its ok as long as they don't carry him into the season if he can't play
Maybe he signed to retire a Niner
No sense at all, the teams' medical staff gave the ok on this? This guy will be reahbbing on side fields as soon as camp starts.

I guess with the money they wasted on him last year, they're hoping to recoup on the investment. It is risky though.
There are some who think the organization is like a health spa. I could name a couple.

Lol that's pretty much true. It's been a health spa for quite a few players over the past decade or so. If it's not injured players drafted that never panned out it's been high risk injured players that came in free agency.

You guys are going to have to start accepting that Trent Baalke no longer works for the team. Verrett remains a low risk/high reward option. Dee Ford was a moderate risk/atmospherically high reward option. I don't recall the current management drafting Baalke players.

I agree with your point, but can't help mentioning that Street is definitely a Baalke pick.

Marcel Harris also hurt his ACL before being drafted. The difference is Street and Harris are day 3 picks. Baalke took his ACL guys on day 2 (Tank, Redmond), which was very high risk (stupid).
Oh yeah, baby!

How gravy would it be if he actually was healthy this yr? Been following his workouts. Fingers crossed, kid is a beast when healthy.

Hurd, Taylor, and Verrett, my injury all-star team!

I would happily accept a Jimmie Ward'esk comeback season from Verrett this year. God knows we will need the help, lol.
