I dont think its the truth, especially the part about rather have this than giving up too much for Beckham. I dont think Matthews will even make the team. Dude just isnt very good.

i am taken in by his size which i think we need and at least he has a body of nfl work and at least its someone to push our current group which is underwhelming.. i understand if you do not take that as a ringing endorsement!!
cc was also taken in by jon baldwins size and look how great that turned out .. so your point. is very well taken steve

hindsite here. but i think i was just soo happy to get rid of that idiot jenkins i just figured well this guy has to be better. ok . i guess i just need to stop saying.... well it can not be any worse. or this guy can not be any worse than_________
I see Jordan becoming one of Jimmy's go-to guys in time...he's a nice big target, makes the tough catches and has good YAC. Not sure who Lynch/Coach are looking at in the draft other than Samuel, who they got to see up close & personal during Senior Bowl week. Kind of like to see them go top CB in the 2nd rd, but we'll see. Certainly wouldn't be disappointed w/DeBo.

If healthy by kickoff, he isn't going anywhere. Unless Bourne / whoever we bring in out shines him in practice, he'll be starting.

I just checked his numbers and although he only had 3 TD catches the last 2 years he was only targeted 64 times. He catches about 70% of the passes thrown to him. He was very good in Chip Kelley's system but at Buffalo and last year at Philly his targets fell off. I don't know what was going on there. Maybe some nagging injuries. Whatever, he is 6'3" 215 lbs and ran 4.46 with a 4.18 cone drill time. That should be intriguing to someone like Kyle. He's still young enough that he could be reborn here and really help. If not, there isn't much downside. I like this better than giving up too much for Beckham.

He was injured last year and he was on Buffalo the prior year so I don't think you can count those years at all, not even one bit. I think he can beat out James and Kendrick. He is a great red zone target I never thought his speed reflects his 40 time however this will be a weapon that Jimmy will make look a lot better than he really is. I think this guy makes the team even if we draft a rookie in the second round or third round

Dam skippy

Didn't this guy break the all-time record in the SEC i believe in yards. I wasn't 100% sure I was reading an article that stated that.

Really crossing my fingers he makes the team. He's definitely an upgrade over Garcon.

I was thinking the same thing he basically replaced garçon but is younger and he can actually score touchdowns.

Had some very good years in Philly, then went to Buffalo (where receivers go to die) and was hurt last year. I think he could have a good year for us. Very effective in the red zone

He was someone I hoped we drafted - good to see we signed him.

I see him definitely making the team with Garcon out of the mix now.

Pettis, Goodwin, Matthews, Taylor, James and Bourne? Perhaps a draft pick unseats Bourne or Matthews
