WR Jordan Matthews Is a TE. And now released, again. And a 49er, again.

I like Jordan Matthews. I think he needs consistency. Kyle will get him the ball.

So we know KS covets certain characteristics in his WRs- where does Jordan Matthews align w/ that?

This signing is all about competition. We have a young receiver core and we need these young guys pushing each other. I still hope we draft a guy early.

I think it's pretty funny that you guys hate on everything the FO has done, I think the additions this offseason Re going to be awesome and honestly think they are making moves to get better. I imagine when the 49ers are on top of the division or working on that playoff berth that's when the "fandom" turns on..that's my take anyways

Another injury-ridden player signed. This franchise is in love with bargain basement injured deals. WOW.

Man i remember wanting him in the draft. Has had a ok career so far.
He isnt the #1 we are lacking but at least he has some size. Good pickup.

You know it buddy. Only way I want WR in the first is if we have a trade down we can't refuse. If we stay at 2 I'm going with Bosa all the way.

The vast majority of players have had an injury at some point in their careers. Even OBJ and Earl Thomas, both of whom this board was clamoring over.
Get over it, dude.

Personally, I hope he's like Goodwin. Previously he was just an average WR, but pair Goodwin and Garappolo with his arm and accuracy, and he was lights out. Hope it's the same for Jordan, and keep in mind Kyle's has been able take UNdrafted offensive players and make them look good. How about *drafted* players with talent that were in a bad system? Hope it works out for Kyle.
