NVM, just converted to TE after gaining 30 lbs.

Did he try to gain 30 lbs or did he just eat too much last year.

I gained a 30 lbs this summer. Can you convert me to a TE?
Needs to run "the hill" with cousin/uncle Jerry Rice.
Move it back to niner talk!

Did he and Glinch eat a backup RB or something toghether?
Why do we keep signing the same camp bodies every year. Give a someone else a chance. The team already knows what they got in this dude.
How was he blocking as a WR when he was at 215? He's up to 236 now but does he have the mentality for blocking or will he try to be a Reed type. At this point he is an inch taller than Reed and 5 pounds lighter. For all the blocking TEs on this roster he could carve out a spot like Reed did if he just shows a willingness to block.
I am fine with the signing, but still like Dwelley chances as #2. When kittle went down in N.O game, Dwelley came in and lit things up. Somehow, it seems he shows well when he comes in and then kyle forgets about him. When we needed him in N.O, he showed up. I don't know about injury or anything else, but sure would like to see him get his fair # of reps.

So he's basically filling the Jalen Hurd role. Kyle's been on the hunt for a second pass catching TE for a while now.

Makes perfect sense. More like Jordan Reed. We haven't seen Hurd in a game. Matthews should do well as a no. 2 or 3 TE. Best shot to make the team.

Ya his blocking shouldn't be an issue. He's gonna be a back up regardless and mostly will be in passing packages.
