I don't think any of our WRs will be top leaders in yards or touchdowns. But we will have a lot of production out of the group this year compared to last year.

this, and the three new guys will elevate everyone else in my opinion. . last year this group looked around and saw what.. garcon and pettis

100% cciowa. 1) A new breed of tough wide receivers just walked in the room and 2) Guys will actually have to earn their jobs this time.

I was listening to a podcast today and the guy was at the Senior Bowl with Deebo and said Deebo, without question, was the Alpha Male in the room of 100 people.

And he was stoked to take on Rock Ya Mama and just beat the hell out of anyone who got in the way. A dog. 100% footbal all the time. "He just can't get enough of it."

Hurd too.

Rock Ya Mama> Rock Ya Sin. Don't @ me.

I think he'll have at least 50 catches and 800 yards hes listed at 195 now so he's growing into his body. His route running is vicious he can get open fasho.

This...would you call Diggs a WR1? I wouldn't but I love me some Diggs and Thielin. Give me that with Killte and pass catching RBs and we're gonna be killing it
Diggs and Thielen are both WR1's to me I like Thielen better tho his ypc is better but Diggs runs good routes and has hands.

the last alpha male we had there was boldin. so tired of these weak, brittle non scary wide outs. thank you kyle for realizing we needed a serious upgrade and even though its not sexy. thank you kyle for signing another tight end who is big and can help push celek out the door.

no. He cannot stay healthy.

This. Too small. Will get killed.

LOL at everyone who's already making " Staying Healthy" comments after his rookie season.

But yes i feel like he could be the #1

he better not think he has a job. kyle is showing the wide outs and celek from last year where the bear s**ts this off season
I don't think shannahan looks at it like this. He looks for players that fit what he wants to do on a given concept or play. I think labels like #1 WR are outdated concepts. Look at the Patriots.

True. And every design probably has a different primary target each time.

Exactly my friend, exactly.
Willie Snead or Kenny Stills 2.0

You don't need to post on a forum to understand football.

He has the look and ego of a #1. That's what makes a receiver #1--that nasty dog in them. That has side effects off the field though (look at the drama surrounding AB and to a lesser extent OBJ). But I'd take a grimy ass dog as my WR any day of the week.

I think he's going to be more of our 15+ yard route type of receiver. Just don't see him running slants and 10 yds and under curls and digs. His route running style is perfect for the 15+ yard type of routes.
