For real...could go any number of ways.

probably 2 backup spots for 4 guys fighting

And Dwelley. By all accounts, he's easily been the second-best TE in camp.

I. Wouldn't count out Smith he has been having a good camp as well and he was a draft pick. Toliolo has been invisible when was the last camp report of him doing anything.

If Richburg starts out on PUP then add Reynolds, Toilolo, or Dwelley.

Where's Tarvarius Moore?

Dammit! Replaced Toilolo with him.

I think Smith makes it over Dwelley unless Smith looks terrible in preseason. Like you said, he was a draft pick. A guy like Dwelley could probably be put on the PS or brought back. I like the dude though.
I don't think we're hearing much about Toilolo because the know what they have in him and want to see the younger guys catching and blocking skills.

Yeah, you're not going to hear about a blocking TE. Although he did have to use his full 6'8" frame and hops for a TC TD.
So Jordan Matthews is out?

Barring injury, trade, or one of the others doing nothing in preseason, yes.

I think the last WR spot is down to he or James.
I've got us cutting Raheem Mostert now.

The more and more I think about it, Kyle can't keep 4 RB's active on game days and with Mitch Wishnowsky averaging between 4.6 & 5.6 second hang times, having a gunner consistently get down there around 4 seconds is a luxury. Not a necessity.

Again a waste of cap room, when we have none in 2020, Mostert's salary is fully GTD, we save zero money.

NVM, we actually save $1.5M ish if cut, I hope they don't though.

Game Day 46

QB: Jimmy, Mullens
RB: Coleman, Breida, Mostert (rotates McKinnon with Coleman or Breida each game day based on who's hurting. Better to hold out McKinnon until needed)
FB: Juszczyk
WR: Pettis, Goodwin, Deebo, Taylor, Bourne, Hurd (Niners carry 6 WR game day with Hurd's versatility and possible goal line back)
TE: Kittle, Toilolo (Could be Dwelley against certain teams)
OL: Staley, McGlinchey, Tomlinson, Person, Richburg, Garland, Coleman
DL: Bosa, Buckner, Day, Ford, Armstead, Blair, Thomas, Jones
LB: Alexander, Warner, Greenlaw, Lee, Mayo
CB: Sherman, Verrett, Witherspoon, Williams, Reed
S: Tartt, Harris, Ward, Moore
P: Wishnowsky
K: Gould
LS: Holba

I could be wrong but I don't think anyone we cut at this point is going to hurt much at all. Any you can think of off the top of your head?

I like Mostert as insurance against Jet's health. I'm not very confident that Jerick can keep 100% healthy during the long 16 game season.

That's what I was thinking, he's like a insurance policy in case any of the other 3 backs get hurt.

Plus if some teams can carry 2 Ks, 1 P and a LS on their 46, we can carry 4 Backs, plus Juice.
