Whoosh! All at once by 1:00 PM PDT Aug. 31.

Waivers for those cuts end 9:00 AM PDT Sept. 1.

I used to think James had no shot at making the team, but everyone is talking him up as a sleeper. That means Bourne or Matthews are one step closer to the door. Kearse broke his leg... trading partner?
MM thinks Street makes the 53.

-How is Kentavius Street looking and might he have a role this year? (Jeff Bratton)

Street looks pretty good, but so does just about every defensive lineman on the team. Street will be on the 53-man roster, but it is going to be difficult for him to earn a spot in the rotation during the regular season.

I'm leaning towards 2 TEs with Hurd/Juice as 3rd TE option, not sure who we keep extra. Kaden would go on PS.

I approve - that would be the prudent thing to do.

Agree!

My big thing is, if we can get any decent trade offer for someone that's on the fringe that we can't keep, we should take it. Shanahan and Lynch have always said that more picks is an advantage, regardless of where they are. We don't have a 2nd rounder in 2020, but at the same time, we seem to have a knack for hitting in later rounds. So, adding a 7th rounder to me is maybe not as weak as it may sound.

I'm all for that. Those 6th and 7th rounders can be leveraged for 5th rounders...an area we've done well with. Kittle + Greenlaw now.

I'm all for dropping our next years 3rd and/or 4th rounders for multiple 5th and 6th rounders, if ShanaLynch can manage it. Assuming starters emerge at the WR spot and depth at the TE spot this year, I'm all for getting more depth at the RB and OLine spots, and with Kyle's past history on getting great 5th round talent to be potentially all pros, give him a couple of 5ths and 6th, and offensively he should be good. Our first rounder should be for bolstering the edge rusher position.

I was rooting for James to make the club going into camp. Whatever happens, he's put on a good show. I still think he makes it.

Unless he stinks it up in the preseason I think he definitely stays. With Armstead on a 1 year contract and Bosa hurt they gotta hang on to him.

Does Blair's contract expire after the season or does he have one more?

Good point/question. This is Blair's last year.
I really like these two.

Julian Taylor had some moments last year. He's an outsider looking in but maybe someone will trade for him?
Post Dallas game...
