Would love to see an individual rating of the predicted 53 squad but that would be very subjective.

WR Notes: I really wanted to put James in as the #6 WR, but I'm not convinced yet. His kick return ability is nice, but is he a Top 6 WR on this team? That's my question. Matthews still has a shot. Bourne has to stop dropping the ball. He's capable of great catches -- he's had highlight reel ones in practice and a couple last year. That door for the #6 spot seems at the very least cracked open. At other positions, we need more clarity on the injury front.

S Notes: If we only go with 3 RB or 2 TE, then I think Exum makes the team (depending how the rest of his pre-season goes). Just seems to know what he's doing out there better than Colbert. No question some of our guys will get picked up by others teams after final cuts.

Injury Notes: Will Richburg really be ready to play Week 1? Like full strength AND up to speed on installs? I dunno. Seems like a 6-week PUP candidate to me. Does McKinnon even make the team? Is his knee in even worse shape than we realize?

I like your notes. I think they are spot on. I don't think Richburg will be ready on day one gameday, and McKinnon's swollen knee doesn't bode well for him - it's been over a year and he's still having knee problems. He's not the biggest guy at the RB spot and I think he got injured in non-contact drills, I believe. What more in game situations where he's getting hit on that leg?

Giedi, You did your usual good job with one iffy selection. No way Adrian Colbert doesn't make this team. He has been much like his 2017 self and nobody hits at the line of scrimmage like he does. He is incredibly fast and has grown up a bit. Look for him to surprise and shine. Keep up the great work...

In my post above, I made one more tweak, and it's at safety. This is the one area that I feel like could go so many different directions.

At the end of the day, I think Marcell Harris winds up being one of the "surprise" final cuts, EVEN IF Jimmie Ward got hurt again. Why? He is the only one who can't play both safety positions. Both Colbert and Exum can. Both have an edge in experience. Both can hit. Both can play STs. Simply put, Harris is talented but doesn't do more than the other two.

If Richburg starts on PUP, then add Dillon Day, and if Jet starts on IR, add Kendrick Bourne or maybe Austin Walter.

I like your list AB the only difference I see is Mayfield is probably a lock for the practice squad he appears to be the only back up to FB. Also it would not surprise me if Azeez makes the team instead of Reynolds or Mayo. I think Mayo has a guaranteed contract but Azeez appears to have that IT element I would hate to see him get snatched up.

Marcel Harris isn't getting cut.
