I can no longer find the CJ Beathard thread. I guess it's too low on the list.

I have been his harshest critic. He would fly high with the Eagles. Maybe we can that get draft choice after all.

Webzone is getting ready for CJ to be traded to Scangarello and Denver for some OLine backup.

Trading Raheem? Seriously??? The guy is valuable on game day. He is the best special teams gunner and is a very good RB. He fills two slots thereby freeing up another player. No way they only carry 4 RBs.

PUP or IR: McKinnon, T. Taylor, S. Coleman

Not bad, just an FYI, McKInnon and Taylor can't be placed on PUP, only short term IR.

I don't see them going with only 5 LBs.

I think Austin Walter will make a run for the 4th RB spot if we keep 4 backs without Jet.

I think Sam Young has the upper hand on Skule due to experience.

My only issue with some guys making this team like Matthews, is we GTD his $1M salary week 1, same for a Wesley Johnson, though I think he's worth a spot.

I agree with probably 95% of your roster, hopefully Weston is ready for week 1, if not, Dillon Day would be a wise choice to keep.

I love Tim Harris, but maybe we can either sneak him onto the PS, or IR him(stash him).

I think there is a 0% chance Walker makes the team.

I also think Toran might beat our Garland for a spot, he looked great at center.

I have Garland as a lock, they GTD him $520K of his $805K base salary, that's a lot to GTD a guy who was signed well into FA.

No chance Exum beats out Colbert.

Yeah I don't see the need to deal Mostert or any of our backs, injuries happen so often, and we have 4 backs who can go and fit the system. AA's value wouldn't be high due to his $9.046M GTD salary, but I'd be ok if they dealt him if it means not losing Street or Taylor.

Why? Exum looked great out there, plus in 2018 when he had a chance he looks very good, Colbert has regressed. Also Exum can play FS and SS.
Man im glad Mabin is gone. Need to get DJ out of here next.

Not according to Shanahan...or Colbert. He's an enforcer and was great two seasons ago. He admittedly had a poor season last year that included a hip injury. He's the fastest of the DB's and a great tackler. Let's wait and see who's correct.

At this point it is more likely than not Exum beats out Colbert. The safety group has been injured prone. The backup safety will likely be on the field and start in some games. The team should be much more comfortable playing Exum than Colbert

100%. Exum has and can play everywhere and at an effective level. TBH, Exum should be above Ward too. The real battle for the last safety spot 'should' be between Ward, Harris and Colbert.

I'm starting to get the feeling Kyle will keep 3 QBs for some reason. I hope I'm wrong, Beathard is a bum, we couldn't get more than a 7th for him.

I'm still hoping we can trade BeatHard. We have a lot of WR's and I'd hate to lose one of them because we kept 3 QB's.

AB, if McKinnon and Richburg aren't ready to go, do they both go straight on I.R. saving a roster spot or do they need to be on the initial 53 first? Also, do you have any insight into who's eligible for the Practice Squad?

Why that emoji next to Garland, he's a good player, who knows Kyle's system.

Also why 10 OL? I hope they cut Garnett, he's a waste of a roster spot.

I doubt Street gets cut, he'll be claimed quickly, he has played well in 2 games IMO.

I think Nzeocha has a chance to make the final 53, he can play all 3 LB spots, plus they GTD him a lot of money this year, and I know you said we have money, but in 2020 we're super tight, actually over the cap without carryover, so wasting any room this year is unwise when we always carryover the full amount, which has been $20-$30M a year, which is the reason why we've had so much cap room each year.

As for your question on Richburg and Jet, Jet needs to make the 53(initial) to be eligible to come back off of IR, while Richburg can start on PUP for the first 6 games, as he hasn't been activated, we kind of screwed the pooch so to speak when we activated Jet, cause he has to wait 2 extra games, sucks but everything seemed fine with him, sucks.

Oh you have Eijah Lee listed as an inactive but not on 53, and you have Al-Shaair on their and the PSquaders list.

As for PS, guys with less than 3 years of experience can go on the PS, not sure the entire list though.
