I think Brunskill makes the roster over Toran and Johnson for the backup G. He played Tackle in the 1st game, LG the 2nd game and RG in yesterday's game. Versatility is key for a backup in Shanny's system.

And I believe he was the first O-lineman rotates in last night.

If they keep 3 QB's
QB: Jimmy, Mullens, Beathard
RB: Coleman, Breida, Motsert, Wilson
FB: Juszczyk
WR: Pettis, Goodwin, Deebo, Mathews, Hurd, James
TE: Kittle, Dwelley , Smith
OL: Staley, McGlinchey, Tomlinson, Person, Richburg, Garland, Johnson, Young
DL: Bosa, Buckner, Day, Ford, Armstead, Thomas, Blair, D. Moore , J.Taylor, Street

CB: Sherman, Verrett, Witherspoon, Williams, Reed, Moseley,
S: Tartt, Ward, T.Moore, Exum

I would love it if Wilson makes the practice squad but fear he may not. I also fear that K.Givens may not. This is going to be a tough cut day coming up.

1. I went with 3 Quarterbacks after the statements made by Kyle Shanahan, which meant I had to go light somewhere, so I chose TE, as Juice can easily play TE in a pinch
2. I went with Jet on IR to start the season this time, while I have Trent Taylor on the 53 still as I don't think his injury is worth of short term IR.
3. Again I don't think the 49ers will cut Celek, as they may not be able to save any cap room due to Celek being on PUP still.
4. I went with Richburg on the 53 as it seems he will be activated off PUP this week.
5. Went with Al-Shaair over Nzeocha and others, younger, faster, and a tackling machine.
You definitely have a great feel for this and will not be surprised if everyone of your scenarios come to past. Great job!

Wow, Shanny wants to keep 3 QB's. I'm not against it. But that would shock me.

The way he worded it though. He said you don't just let an NFL QB go. Definitely sounds like trade bait to me.

Pony up, lol...
I would want our 3rd rounder back. I'm thinking because he does have game experience (played in 13 games) that he has more experience than most of the backups in the NFL and even some of the starters.

Idk if we keep 11, it's possible, all 11 are NFL caliber DLineman, and I'd hate to lose any of the young guys, like Street, Taylor, Jones, who are signed for 2-3 more years, and guys like Blair and Moore add much needed depth at the EDGE rusher spot.
If we were to trade or cut Beathard, and deal AA, I'd think we'd go with another TE, Dwelley, and an OL or a 7th WR. Of course with cuts we could see the team claim some players off waivers, or even make player for player deals, I doubt we deal any future picks, we own all our picks in 2020 except our 2nd and we have DET's 7th. If we could deal some players and pick up some day 3 picks I'd be happy. If we could deal AA, I'd be ok, as it would clear $9.046M in cap room, and that would carryover into 2020, giving us more cap room than I have projected with carryover.
I guess this time next week we'll know, hopefully the team moves on from guys like Malcolm Smith, Joshua Garnett, Celek if they can, and Beathard.
Totally agree on wanting to keep Street, Taylor, Jones, Moore and Blair hence why I'd be happy if they found a trading partner for Armstead. IMO we're in pretty decent shape to make a couple moves in the next week: we obviously have a need on the OL but we do have depth at WR, DL and QB that we can hopefully parlay into future picks and/or improved OL depth

Packers waived S Josh Jones.
Jones confirmed the news on Twitter. Unhappy with his role, Jones tried to facilitate a trade this offseason before eventually relenting by showing up to Packers mandatory minicamp in June. The 2017 second-rounder chipped in with 55 tackles and one sack over 13 appearances last year including five starts. He shouldn't take long to resurface.
Please pick this guy up!!

At this point either QB's could be traded for more than a 3rd, easily. So, given that Shanny looks to be comfortable with carrying 3 QB's, if I were in the FO I'd demand nothing less than a 2nd plus bodies and late picks, or a 1st plus late picks.
Negotiating 101: when in the position of power use it We have a very valuable, expensive commodity that is sought after and guarded jealously! And, we have it in surplus. The rules of the NFL has been changed to the point of ridiculousness in order to protect them from the otherwise natural progression of the game. It has been well established that teams CANNOT win without one.
No way on earth should we deal either of these commodities away for anything less than their current on-the-filed value. And both of them have proven that, at the very least, they are more valuable now than how they initially came into the league.
To Lynch, Shanny, and the FO: go get that pound of flesh

Matthews hasn't shown enough so he will likely get released. Taylor may be a candidate for IR. I would keep Bourne over Goodwin because of his size and age. I think he is a better receiver overall. Goodwin is too limited and his size and age make him vulnerable. Not to mention he wants to compete in the Olympics next year.
