OL (8): Staley, Tomlinson, Richburg, Person, McGlinchey, Young, Garnett, Garland

I expect McKinnon to go on IR in the next couple days.

I think we probably pick up an center from another teams cuts to replace Garland.

DL (10): Bosa, Buckner, Day, Ford, Armstead, Thomas, Moore, Blair, Taylor, Jones
LB (6): Alexander, Warner, Greenlaw, Mayo, Al-Shaair, Lee
DB(10): Sherman, Witherspoon, Williams, Verrett, Reed, Moseley, Ward, Tartt, Moore, Harris

ST (3): Gould, Wishnowsky, Holba

Garland from what I've heard has looked good so far in replacing Richburg. Also, he knows this offense from the past and is versatile - I don't see him going anywhere.
no news about Verrett ?

Drop Toran, add James, with Taylor and Hurd hurt, I doubt they go with only 4 healthy WRs.

I hope they find a better swing T than Sam Young. I don't think they go 10 OL, I think 8 or 9.

I think Al-Shaair makes it over Lee. I keep going back and forth between Nzeocha and Lee making it. both can play all 3 LB spots, and Nzeocha has most of his deal GTD. I'd hate to see Jullian Taylor cut, he's played well this game.

I hate Toran. But damnit, they let him play both G spots and C. So really, he's it in terms of versatility at IOL. Brunskill for T/G.

I'm thinking maybe not bring back Wesley Johnson and go with Richie James or Jeff Wilson. What's your call there?

Al, yeah, from what Saleh said recently he has a long ways to go which is why I stayed with Lee. Easy PS guy.

How about Garnett. Does he make it and who gets bumped ? (Is he not even notable?). I think we take a cap hit.

Toran is garbage, two bad snaps, one lead to a fumble in the redzone. I like Brunskill though.

I'd rather go with Johnson over Toran, and James back, 4 healthy WRs for however long is risky IMO, I'm starting to think we keep only 2 QBs, with Beathard cut/traded.

I like Al-Shaair, it's possible they only keep 5 LBs, which leads them to keep both James and Wilson. I'm just worried Al-Shaair gets claimed.

Garnett needs to be cut or traded, waste of a roster spot, bad bad pick by Baalke. Could have went with Michael Thomas, but went with Garnett, who a lot of 49er fans loved, but never panned out, reminds me of Tank Carradine, loved by fans, but never panned out.
Also NC, Jullian Taylor is more of a 3T(behind Buck and Solly) rather than a Big End, he hasn't played outside in preseason, he weighs like 300lbs npw apparently. That could be a nail in the coffin, not versatile enough, but do they keep 9 or 10 DL? Who's the 10, I have AA, Solly, Dee, Bosa, DeFo, Day, Jones, Blair, and Moore as my top 9. Street would have been Number 10, but oh well. I guess the new 10th DL would be down to either Taylor or Givens, but I think Givens can be sneaked onto the PS. So 9 seems logical for initial 53, if Hurd wasn't hurt, same with Taylor, then I'd keep Taylor, as I like him a lot. I hate the idea of losing him.

I agree with a trade. I know the team tried hard, even pumped him up last year with his weight loss for the scheme but he's not a fit. Can they trade him before final cuts or does he need to occupy a roster spot ?
