3-13, 49ers last in the division.

Fixed
3-13? Seriously? Are you expecting another record season of injuries?

Now, I'm not really liking that week 4 bye. And that's a lot of travel. That's not good! At worst we'll be 2-1 by the bye. We will sweep the Cardinals and at least split with the Lambs and Seaswans.

Realistic 11-5/12-4, wildcard birth.

Book it

Has anyone saying the schedule isn't that bad actually seen the schedule?

3 different back-to-back road game stretches, and playing FIVE 2018 playoff teams to closet he last 7 weeks of the season (non-playoff teams including the falcons and packers who are far from easy outs)

This is the worst schedule I've seen as a 49ers fan since schedule release became a thing. Really rough.

Have you seen Tampa's schedule? After their 9/22 home game, they don't play another home game in Tampa until 11/10. This includes a couple trips to the west coast and a trip to London. It could definitely be a lot worse.

Same with the Raiders lol

Wow, just saw the schedule. The end of the season could easily be 6 straight losses.

I'm going with.........

Wk 2 @Cin -W
Wk 3 vs Pitt - L
Wk 5 vs Cle - L
Wk 6 @LA - L
Wk 7 @Was - W
Wk 8 vs Car - W
Wk 9 @Az - W
Wk 10 vs Sea - W
Wk 11 vs AZ - W
Wk 12 vs GB - l
Wk 13 @Bal - l
Wk14 @NO - L
Wk15 vs Atl - l
Wk16 vs LA - l
Wk17 @Sea - L

7-9 With the potential to drop one at Arizona, since we find a way to do that almost every year.

The team was competitive last year despite key injuries. The only games I see as clear losses are both Rams and Saints.
The 49ers open with back-to-back road games, including a cross-country season opener in Tampa Bay (but with a friendly 4:25 p.m. EST body clock start), and a 1 p.m. EST game against the Bengals in Cincinnati. Their home opener vs. Pittsburgh provides no relief before a painfully early bye week, then a home Monday Night Football game against the loaded Browns and a short week Sunday matchup against the Super Bowl runner-up Rams.

Pointless to proclaim anything regarding the difficulty of the opponents. You can only use 2018 logic on a 2019 schedule. And it's not like there is a strong correlation from year to year performance across the entire league.

Literally every year 5-8 teams massively under perform and just as many over perform. To say any game is "difficult" without knowing how well that team is actually playing this season does nothing.
the good thing about having the Buccs and Bengals early is that they can fly out to their Ohio facility a week early before week 1 so there is no jet lag.

Really the only definitive conclusion you can pull from this is that there is really only one true "cold weather" game on the schedule.
examining the schedule based on the previous year is almost always pointless....some of the team's we're expected to lose against may end up not being good themselves...same could be said for the wins but as a Washingtonian....there's no way in hell we're losing to the Redskins!
