If he wasn't indispensable we could Deforest Buckner him BUT he is the top edge defender in the league and we have no obvious replacement for him and we NEED him. Gotta pay the man! Bosa is likely worth 2 firsts but that would be after the season preceding the draft. Right now there is absolutely nothing of value in any trade we could get for him so we need to get him happy and get him paid

As far as I'm concerned he can sit out until week 1. Pretty confident he can step in and perform regardless
