This should be good news for us. I'm sure both camps have been waiting to see what the other player gets.

This looks pretty bad for the Chiefs though, Reid just said there has been no communication, at least that's not the case for us.

Still, this is dragging on way to f**king long. Just pay him already and get him on the field.

Speculation is not good news, but his signing will be. He and the team mutually know how important this is, and his presence isn't needed until September 10. He'll be here then.

I've said it before, this feels like a game of chicken between Jones and Bosa. Whoever signs first the next guy gets the biggest deal. And I'm pretty sure they have the same agent.

Well it really isn't speculation, Reid literally said there has been no communication and Jones posted on Twitter that he will hold out until week 8 if he needs to "I can afford it"

This will definitely be a 30 mil a year contract for us. The agents work together as well to set the market, they definitely want the new standard to be 30 mil for elite DL players.

Sorry, I was referring to the speculation that his situation has anything to do with Nick's. Has that been stated?

Shows what I know. I still think that once one signs the other will sign soon after for just a little bit more.
There's no way Chris Jones' situation should have any bearing on the Nick Bosa deal.

Jones should get a contract north of what the best DTs have gotten this offseason but not at Aaron Donald's level.

Bosa is going to get a contract that surpasses TJ Watt and Aaron Donald.
I know Jones is really good and all, but is he really $35M a year good?

Yeah, good news for us, but bad for the Chiefs who have 2 recent Superbowls. Lol.

No one on defense is $35 million good.

I'd say Nick Bosa, TJ Watt, and Myles Garrett are.
Maybe the plan is for bosa and the team to sign the contract right before the season (it's already done) to hold up the chiefs are cause issues with them so we can weaken em. Muhahahaha

Lynch out here playing 4 dimensional chess

How many super bowls do those guys have combined? Offense wins championships in this new NFL.

Which is why elite pass rushers who disrupt QB's get paid. Do people really not understand this?
