im not too concerned about him getting signed, I think it'll happen, my concern is really how much practice and chemistry will he have.

he's a special and unique player, so I'm not predicting it'll be an issue. I mainly worry about his new side-by-side team of hargrave that has 0 practice/chemistry with him at this point.

maybe that isn't as big of an issue on the d line as I'm thinking, but it would be nice for him to get at least a week of prep in.

It's only an issue if he's not on the field game day imo. SF needs to nut up and pay the man…it's not like they haven't been planning to do this for a couple yrs now.

This is the part that confuses me, did something drastically change? Cause like you said, they've known about this for two years. I honestly looked at his deal as pretty straight forward, he's one of the few players that Unquestionably deserves to be the highest paid.

i know we are in a tight cap spot and all, but we've had a long time to position for this.

The rhetoric is Super Bowl or bust for the 49ers…. Anything less will be enough to attract criticism that will, in turn, return focus to the series of mishaps we've had over the years…. From the mishandling jimmy, to the disregard for Brady, to the Trey catastrophe. I think we underperform this year, our big contracts get old overnight, one or two key departures after this season.

That's my feeling anyhow

he's def not racist, he's just from a businesses minded area that doesn't get exposed to the racial and poverty areas in this country, is my opinion.

he's been one of the few white guys amongst predominantly black football teams his whole life. Hahaha no way he's racist.

He's from Ft.Lauderdale, FL. Which is more purple than anything else, especially when it comes to the rest of the state

lol if we lose Bosa because of woke politics

Lol so pessimistic. Well it's safe to say that our chances at winning it all drastically goes down without nick bosa.

this is the best team on paper that we've had in a very long time. There really hasn't been much controversy that impacts the starters - it was a backup competition controversy.

i wish that crap would just go away. I don't see other fan base say s**t like that other than our own. It's stupid.

Its not just niner fans, it's all nfl fans calling him that

Youre not wrong. Was just making a passing comment 👍🏻

Winning cures all. Let's hope we win

If bosa isn't signed this week, then I'll start to stress.

i think there may be something to the conspiracy that they'll sign him on Wednesday after they've done the 53 man roster so they can use Bosa's spot to keep someone like Latu and assign him to IR, so we can use him during the season once he's healthy.

Tank for Caleb Williams. Re-sign Darnold. Sign Mark Sanchez to mentor.

If we lose any player to politics, unless they're just way out there and ridiculous, that would be stupid.

same way regular folks like us keep our political/religious perspectives to ourselves, for the most part, professional athletes should to, IMO. I don't mind them having opinions or stances on a lot of things, I just don't like anyone telling someone else what they should and shouldn't believe. It's a free country, we don't have to agree with each other all the time, just respect each other and our differences. (Unless they're hurting or oppressing someone - then screw them.)

Lure Pete, Reggie Bush comes out of retirement, Tim Ryan loves all our moves

Yeah it gets really stupid when you are crucified for putting a like on a tweet/social media post that a certain group of people don't like.

I guess if you are a professional athlete it is better to ignore Social media all together.

I have a feeling it was guaranteed as long as paraag was negotiating the deal it was going to come to this. We are always strict on the guarantees and up front money.

It's probably the sticking point honestly.

The most he can hold out is 8 games so. Worst case scenario.

Guys what are we doin here? he's gonna be in uniform, week 1

🤣 It's called a hypothetical. Someone has to balance one extreme with another on the opposite end.

lol my bad, I just don't see any way this guy misses games. I mean this is Nick F Bosa we are talking about here.

If we're 8-0 without Bosa, just imagine how good we'd be with Bosa. Super bowl champs.

Probably the least "red" area in Florida outside of the capital.

As Miami continues to drift "red" there has been tension between Dade and Broward county. I would say Miami is closing in on purple not really Broward.

Having said that....blue FL is nothing like SF from my understanding of it, but I am really not the guy to make educated assumptions on that sort of stuff.

I really doubt the dude is racist or in some sort of culture shock due to skin tones , we are talking about moving from an area that is nearly a 30-30-30 split of white-hispanic-black to an area (SF) predominately white/asian with like 5% of the population that is black. If we go by Santa Clara it is even more white with 2% of the population being black.

If anything he is wondering where all the black and brown people have gone that area is a white enclave compared to Broward County or Miami-Dade.

Getting real close to "no politics" being back in the thread title and I'd rather not do that since the shrugging emoji looks cool.
