I can't see the organization first dumping Trey for Peanuts and then not resigning Bosa. The meltdown would be epic and they must understand that.

If we trade Bosa, we essentially just closed the door on this championship window. It makes no sense to trade him with a cheap QB room. If they trade Bosa, paired with Lance trade, the FO would be under huge pressure to win this year.

Not only that but it would be draft picks that don't help them at all this season because the draft has come and gone. Not to mention the team you trade him to will probally finish top 5 in the league and that 1st RD pick will be in the late 20's. So stupid.

I would hope so...I would be posting in the ashamed front office thread. Homer's will home, but when the niners lose the div to Seattle heads are gonna roll. Bosa is one of our best players you don't let him go. It's like cutting Lott in his prime and he was not even as valuable as Bosa is to us now.

You build around players like Bosa! Youngsters have to rise up to his level... or try to. Then if they do well they can go get paid somewhere else and we go on to the next youngster... but the core are players like Fred and Nick.
