They aren't winning this year without Bosa. If Bosa is traded, Both John and Kyle should be fired on the spot. They could have just kept Trey and let him play all year and worse case they get a shot at Caleb Williams in the draft.

Yeah this is annoing to read but this rumor is too crazy to get worked up about. With all the drama and the fact that he's still unsigned you gotta kinda expect a rumor like this.

Probably a leak by the Agent to drive up the pressure on the 49ers to accept the deal.

For what it's worth, this is also what that guy posted before he deleted it:

"Final comment: Bosa pretty much f**ked the 49ers here. Completely. Either he's:

- Traded and compensation won't help the 49ers in their Super Bowl push this year. The 49ers FO may justify the trade by getting an EDGE player in return or try to scoop someone at the trade deadline.

- Or he is going to make way, way, way more than the 49ers can afford because York is afraid to lose him. Will handicap team's future and they will probably lose Aiyuk and a couple other starters because of his monstrosity of a contract."

I mean - if I had to choose it would definitely be the latter. Bosa is worth losing Aiyuk, Juice, and a few others. He just is.

Yea, if he is asking for 40m, then there are plenty of options beside trade him. Bosa won't hold out, but he'll strain an abdominal in the third game or something.

Exactly, this team talks about SB and if they made that beyond stupid trade that window is done especially with their s**t Ass track record drafting in the 1st. You're not replacing Bosa with any of those picks

I agree. There are moves that can be made to alleviate Bosa's salary cap hits. Bosa's production and talent can't be replaced, especially not this year.

Aiyuk is gone in a few years anyway... dude is a #1 WR on a team with a bunch of weapons.

I feel Kyle likes having McCaffrey and Deebo lined up against defenses.. an would just plug in other TEs and Wrs around them.

Wouldn't be surprised if Kittle is gone in a year or two.

I said before that the only way I ever trade Bosa is if it's a minimum two 1st RD picks and one has to be a guaranteed top 5 pick in a loaded top heavy draft class where you are confident of drafting a generational talent. Bosa was the #2 overall pick who lived up to his draft status. Without even knowing what that player at #2 would become would you trade that #2 pick for the #26 and #27 pick? Because's that's pretty much what you would be doing.
