You trade Nick and you might as well kiss a chance at the Super Bowl goodbye. There's nobody on the defensive line who can do what he can do, and is a huge reason why the defense can do what it does.

Would be a franchise altering move on the level of trading Charles Haley.

Imagine selling the Trey Lance trade by saying you can't wait for the future because you are trying to win a SB now and then a week later trading Bosa for future draft picks. What a joke that would be and not a funny one for Niner fans.
