At this point, it's just greed. If he wants go squeeze every penny from the team and cripple us. Just trade his ass, he isnt a team player. We can recoup all the picks we lost from the trey lance debacle

Yes those late 1st RD picks will help us replace the best defensive player in the league lol. I can't wait for us to run out Ferrell and Drake as our top 2 edge rushers this season. That will put the fear of god in opposing QB's.

To your point, what is the cap impact for this team at a " best guess" 5 year 35 million per year" fully guaranteed. He is not star QB. How many SB did Houston win with Watt again.....
I will agree that the position is important, he is excellent but similarly, where is the line and what are the impacts down the road to be able to sign other players.

Jonnydel stated on his podcast that he believes the holdup is that Bosa and Jones are both waiting for the other to sign first so they can get that claim of being the highest paid D lineman. Sounds like some selfish s**t to me. Especially if it pours over into the season when these games matter.

I agree he needs to be paid top dollar. Likely the most expensive Defender in League history. But if he wants more think about a short extension for:35 and start taking bids from other teams for next year. Too much drama around here. It interferes with football. Also the negotiation should be made public now. The fans have a right to know what's going on who's in the right who's in the wrong.

The regular season is less than 12 days away and his three major clients (Bosa, Chris Jones, Joe Burrow) have made exactly $0 in these negotiations so far.
Sounds like he's doing a pretty poor job.
