Had Bosa been in camp, I doubt he would have played. The 49ers already know what they have in Nick Bosa, so why waste that talent in the preseason? Why risk injury?

Bosa has never played a preseason game in his five preseasons so far. Of course he wouldn't have played.

Bosa's contract and the lack of O-line not depth, but talent is what's driving me crazy. Feliciano doesn't bother me too much, but Zakelj and Pryor just seem so risky to put out there if something were to happen. But back to Bosa, I really wish they got this done sooner so Bosa could've gotten a tune up game in the off season, or at the very least get in on joint practices. It is what it is, we're just looking for the stars to align because this just has to be the year the 49ers are back in the Super Bowl, this just has to be it!!!

There's a difference here....

Kyle has (to my knowledge) never outright lied with a direct statement.

Meaning, something along the lines of never trading Bosa.....what if he said "we'd never trade Jimmy" or "we'd never trade Lance"?

He's used vague language before, but never anything so explicit.

And I think that matters, because there's a reason to go indirect at times, and also direct to set the matter straight.
