Man this guy is getting greedy. Sign the deal. You are the highest paid DE in the league. That's good enough.

Why is that on the FO?? If Bosa is off in crazy town — why would the Niners meet him there?
Youre talking about week 1 2023 problems when this is a multiple year contract. They are not the same.
He's not in crazy town and if reports that they are $4 million apart then it's a HUGE fail by the FO. Bosa has all the leverage in this situation, and if the team even loses him for 1 week and it costs a game, they will have shot themselves in BOTH feet.
He absolutely does not have all the leverage. If he did he would have been signed by now. The Niners will use three years of control and Bosa missing game checks as leverage. That's real money. Missing TC isn't real money. He can't get it back and the Niners won't add it in on the extension. It's Bosa's decision to miss games. Not the FO.
It won't come to that. But it is clear people don't understand what leverage is. Twitter has got too many people gassed up.
Both parties have hands to play.
Agree to disagree here. He is a Super Bowl caliber team's MVP and every game he misses could put home field advantage at risk, or possibly even the playoffs. Whereas sooner or later, he WILL get his $.
If he "had all the leverage" he would get $50m a year

He should get as much as he can get. He shouldn't get something "good enough"

We don't know if their offer makes him the highest paid DE. That might be the issue. Also he deserves more than Donald at this stage of both of their careers.

Let's clarify here as the top EDGE is TJ but the top D player is Donald. Course, the reigning DPOY should be the top D player in contract. So Bosa needs to set the market here that means, way more money than TJ.

Following the logic of more than Donald, Donald is $31-32m aav. So Bosa needs to be 32-35. I think toward the high end

Just look at the motivations. SF really wants him to play week 1. Nick really wants to play week 1. So they will reach an agreement very soon. Both sides don't want any missed football, imo.

Man, this is lowballing, you aren't gonna pay Bosa, the AAV of Donald?
Highest paid pass rusher @ 6yrs/141mil. I don't see 5/$151 mill low ball'n

His $17m 5th year option is a cool mil weekly payday, if he's here. His $40m signing bonus is $2.2 every year forever if he doesn't blow it on hookers. His contract this year plus Two more franchise years is still less than what his contract will be. Why does Anyone think he has any leverage at all? He'll be here, or he's really really Stupid, and he doesn't look stupid to me. Just smarter and more patient than the fan base. But I don't think the FO is stupid either, so they won't cave to the fanbase.
As for Brock, that's why we Pay him all that money. He's just going to have to go earn his $52.9k in Pittsburgh and bring us home that W.

It's about the AAV, Donald is 31-32m currently. You are offering $30.2. So you are offering the top D player, not top D player money. I would hope you bump this up, or I am not showing up week 1

Damn...I thought it was about the fully guaranteed money @ 90mil. I'll bump it to 95mil fully guaranteed .
