i think it is a nonissue players haven't really avoided NY, CA, Minn Wis, Mass and all have high state tax

It has a pretty big impact on take home. I don't see how its a non issue. Agents should be advising. Props for the adjustment idea by state.

Conehead doesn't know jack, he is just playing with that $4 million difference analysis reported yesterday, the dude should move to dallas so he can ride TL's nuts over there and make his daily tik tok fan boy vids
Is Nick going to play any better if he gets that extra money? I doubt it.

im still sticking with i think the issue is the guaranteed money if it was a 4 million APY the deal would be closed by now

Yea...im hoping your right.....if the situation was settled 2 months ago, bosa could have integrated with wilks and maybe we have the extra$$ to sign houston or ngouke. There must be a tangible reason.

i can think of many record-setting contracts apart from the QB position that was dealt with that quickly. We have constantly seen WR and defensive players (and RB) hold out this has been going on for a decade
1.8 mil a game, some sweet money there lol

It has nothing to do with annual and everything to do with guaranteed. Anything not related to guaranteed is just window decoration. I bet the 9ers are in around $110m guaranteed and Nick much more.

It doesn't have a "pretty big impact". First off, the players pay taxes based on where they play every week. Secondly, no matter where they play, they pay federal taxes, which is much higher than even the highest state tax.

So there is a difference if you signed with the dolphins vs the Vikings, but it's not some gigantic difference.
CA income tax is real. I can't remember the baseball player but there was a $20m difference playing here vs somewhere in the Midwest. It was any eye opening stat they showed.

I live here and my paycheck agrees.

FACT

Cali taxes are oppressive and some of the highest in the nation: state income tax, state sales tax
