I just see a lot of question marks in his game and leadership quality and injury risks, so I was just sharing my idea that they should offer him more total comp but maybe slightly less guaranteed . Let's not suffer from recency bias

Dude I don't think he's an eagles fan. I think he's being pretty dramatic about what Bosa wants and should get. He's one of the best players in football. Just be happy he plays for SF and pay the man.

Charles Haley had 5 Super Bowls. That is a different conversation but I agree on NO TRADE. Because of the rookie wage cap we have his rights the next 3 years if we so choose. The deal will get done but Paraag is gonna win this deal no matter how long that may be. I have said Bosa is the best player but the leader is Fred Warner. With the Ravens, Ed Reed was the best player but Ray Lewis was the leader and you better believe he was probably the most important throughout his tenure there. Fred has the most All Pros on this team and he is the leader so when you want to gauge the culture on this defense it starts with its leadership and that comes from All Pro Fred. As long as we have Fred on the field we have a chance. If we have Bosa on the field we then add the DPOY and that speaks for itself. Bosa is the best player on defense but I will ride with Fred Warner leading the defense any day because I know he will show up and be ready to sacrifice himself for his brothers week in and week out above all others

That said I believe it is a no brainer to have already offered Bosa DPOY money top salary and top guarantees among all defensive players. He has earned it. Now if he won't accept that then we gotta Crabtree his butt

I am a huge Fred Warner fan. In fact, he is the only current player I own a jersey of...that's how much I like him.

With that being said, if I had to choose him or Bosa, I'm taking Bosa without thinking twice. Every GM in football would agree.

I think I know why Nick wants all that money. He's gonna give a bunch to his brother so his brother comes over here on a vet minimum contract.

There has been a lot said about Nick not being in camp. I would just remind those who are starting to say unkind things about him that it takes two to tango, and if we have offered top dollar, ie better than Donald , it may not be Nick's decision but rather his agent's , to keep the 9ers hanging in a state of "WTF" happened to , or where is Nick? This could be 100% caused not by our side but Nick's agent. Hopefully, if this. Is the case, Nick steps in and says basta! Or enough.

None of us knows for sure, but this could just as easily be an agent holding us up as it could be our guys trying to low ball Nick…and frankly after all Nick has done, and all he has given, i just can't imagine JL or kyle, (i don't know about Paraag) doing that. When this is all over maybe we find out then…but also, maybe not.

Meantime, all those who have had unkind thots about Nick, please remember there are two sides to any contract, and we , for certain, have no idea who or what the hang up is and which side it comes from.. I can't imagine kyle or JL doing that , but i surely can imagine Nick's agent doing so…ie, making unrealistic contract offers…if that is the case, i hope Nick puts an end to it.
