This could be 100% caused not by our side but Nick's agent. Hopefully, if this. Is the case, Nick steps in and says basta! Or enough.
None of us knows for sure, but this could just as easily be an agent holding us up as it could be our guys trying to low ball Nick…and frankly after all Nick has done, and all he has given, i just can't imagine JL or kyle, (i don't know about Paraag) doing that. When this is all over maybe we find out then…but also, maybe not.
Meantime, all those who have had unkind thots about Nick, please remember there are two sides to any contract, and we , for certain, have no idea who or what the hang up is and which side it comes from.. I can't imagine kyle or JL doing that , but i surely can imagine Nick's agent doing so…ie, making unrealistic contract offers…if that is the case, i hope Nick puts an end to it.
This is what happened with TJ Watt two years ago, no? Three days before their season started, he finally stepped into the FO and said "enough. We have a good enough deal, I'm signing it, and I'm going to go work out with the team."
Really wish Bosa would do that

Perfect situation for Bosa to sustain an injury because he's not in "football shape". Just don't get why they haven't got this done. There's no reasonable reason why they didn't make this happen by now.
Guess we'll see soon enough.

I'm hoping he told his agent, "You have until Tuesday morning, and then I'm signing what is currently on the table".

Uh, if the top ask is 34, you know its paraag. Of course its unlikely bosas career tops donald...but because sacks are important in this pass obsessed fantasy foot ball league, he gonna get paid more. So lets figure out if the ceiling is reasonable., if it is, do it.

Charles Haley was bi-polar, destructive in our own locker room, and made himself intolerable. Still, Eddie says trading him was his biggest mistake and regret.
Nick Bosa is none of that. He's pressing for a better contract, but there is ZERO chance he is going Anywhere. Our alternative is he play's this year on the 5th year option, and then the next two on the franchise tag, All cheaper for us than if he signs. If he goes that route, he makes Less money, and he has No injury protection year to year. He's going to have to drop about 80 IQ points before he chooses that option. Use a spotter, Nick.
There is only one way this ends. He signs. For the highest for any non quarterback, and not much more. If he makes his team and team mates risk games without him, he's being a D Head. I don't expect that.

This is the reason I didn't want him to win DPOY as I really thought this would happen and linger on longer than needed.

Lol well wouldn't it make sense for him to just take less $ then? Team would have enough to sign Joey and there'd be no holdout.

Bosa can be ONLY 1 of 5 players EVER to get at least 15.5 sacks 3 times in his first 5 years……and he MISSED an entire season.
So hilarious that a few people don't see him as the best all around DE. Parsons isn't good vs the run, Garrett is close but not as good vs the run as well and same goes for TJ Watt
