Pretty sure he's not playing on Sunday... imagine the savings we could have if we traded him. Two firsts round picks potentially.. just saying 🤷🏾

Bosa is great to have on the team. I'm just over him making it all about him. I don't care if it's a business decision. He plays games with his team and him bickering about a few million just causes his teammates to be shown the door. I'm over him being bigger than the team. If we had a high priced QB he would of been delt already

Dumb. Literally a pass rusher entering their prime is the best thing you can spend your money on other than a franchise qb. And maybe we already have that. So pay the man what he wants, front load it as best you can and call it a day

Dumb post. Pay the guy what he wants???Great idea, why don't we just let bosa and Fred warner, CMC, and Trent Williams negotiate their contracts too. Loser response

Typical woman response

On a Super Bowl ready team you're going to trade our best player lol? What so we can get another kinlaw? And only 2 firsts?

I posted before that I think Bosa's agent is probably the villain in this story. I have encountered this many times on a much smaller level in the past. One of my favorite anecdotes from my Hollywood years was that I once met with an agent who was just starting out and a few years later he was responsible for brokering the first million- dollar fee for a script. So who did Interview Magazine put on the cover of the issue that had a story about the sale? The guy who actually wrote the script, of course not. It was the effing agent. I don't think I ever met a single one of them that I would want as a friend or thought had an ounce of ethics. I would imagine that Bosa wants to get a deal done, and the 49ers want to get a deal done, but the agent only wants to get a deal done if he can say, see, I brokered the biggest payday ever for a player who wasn't a QB. Until next year when someone else's contract comes due.

Unfortunately that's the agent's job, to play hardball and get the best deal for their client. It sucks but Bosa can step in and say enough is enough. The way I look at it agents are like attorneys we all hate them until we need one!

Unfortunately a lot of attorneys are agents - Leigh Steinburg is one example. This is the guy that *show me the money* movie was based on, I think.

noobodys gonna give 4 firsts except for kevin costner. I imagine the khalil mack trade would be the benchmark. 2 firsts a third and a sixth, or some combination of that. This is why trading Bosa isn't appealing to SF, among other reasons. 4 firsts is a fantasy that will never happen for any player.

We could pull 3 1sts I'd imagine but yeah there's no reasonable way we trade him in a superbowl window

He is an edge rusher not a QB. Not worried at all. Doesnt Wilks utilize his DBs in the pass rush?

Edge rushers dont win SBs.

Bosa has been more important to this team and our success than any qb or even Shannahan. He's a complete game disruptor. With the 17 game schedule we r on without him for a game or 2 but no more

You think Bosa>Kyle?

After Kyle thinking Trey Lance was worth trading up for, absolutely. Bosa is the most disruptive player in the league now that Donald is a tad bit longer on the tooth. And the most important player outside of about 7 qbs.

I agree 100% but Bosa can still stop this circus at any time. This just sucks but here we are. If you look at it from Bosa's side he already had knee surgery and lost a year and who knows, he could have his career ruined buy some injuries and basically be out of football forever and need to walk with braces and canes or in a wheelchair. I know from a fan's perspective it sounds silly but if you spent your whole life preparing for a job only to have it gone forever that is something you have to consider from his perspective. On the other hand…….. sign the f@@@@ing contract Nick!!!!!! JMO

Yeah so it would be in Bosa's best interest to get a contract done now rather than play through this year and have a potential career ending/impactful injury. Unless he is willing to just completely sit out, but even that would be a disastrous move.
So what happens if we play "hard ball"? What happens if we assess all the fines possible? I'm cool if he doesn't show up until week 8. I'm sick of his greed. No we don't know what he wants, but I'm sure it's way more than to be the highest paid DE. This reminds me of Crabtree asking for way more than he DESERVES.
So if Bosa said either "Give me 40 Million a year, or trade me, or I will sit all year", what would be your decision.

1. Just give him the 40 million and make room for him by eventually not re-signing other good talent.
2. Look for a really good deal(multiple firsts) and make the trade.
3. Call his bluff, and just let him sit until he agrees to a more reasonable deal
If he misses a game, we save $1M - does that cap savings get rolled over to next year if we don't spend it?
This front office including Kyle has been taking nothing but L's this entire offseason. One of the worst off offseason's I can remember from this management. It started with the draft where they drafted a TE and Kicker in the 3rd round(A TE that is not even going to play this season). The whole Trey drama they created for themselves and practically giving him away, All because they feel the need to have Sam Darnold. Them sellling the trade as this being a win now team but yet the guy they will a hard time winning without is still not signed and unlikely to play week 1.
