You should see the salaries of some of these Tech Titans, now those salaries are just ❗❗❗

You're worth the value you create. Football creates/generates billions. So yes, they are worth it. Technically, they're underpaid for the revenue they generate the league. Same with basketball, steph alone has generated billions for the warriors and the teams value, tv contracts etc.

i think they make a ridiculous amount but to say no one is worth that? You're worth the value you create. Since they create billions, they are.

I'd say they're actually worth closer to what they earn than the rest of America, aside from non-skilled labor.

Maybe check out competitive chess. Those players make around $30k a year and might be more to your liking.

I'm a big chess player, most guys make pennies. A few YouTubers make bank.

Dude better get like 20 sacks.

I'd settle for Bosa breaking Aldon's sack record!

Bosa's impact extends far beyond just sacks, but with him being adjacent to Hargrave now - I think he will have a chance to bread aldons record. Maybe even 22.5, depending on how we are played.

the key will be for our offense to be high scoring so the other team has to try and keep up, that way we can pin our ears back.

yeah Bosa / Hargrave might be more devastating than Smith / Smith

I think this is the year that defensive line gets a decent nickname!

I think they will be. Justin smith is one of my favorite players of all time, and he was a wrecking ball, but his specialty wasn't getting to the qb. It was more disrupting the play and
Creating opportunities for others - like aldon.

hargrave and bosa are both wrecking balls and awesome pass rushers. It's going to be extremely difficult to stop them and/or double team them. Armstead typically demands a double team as well.

Those three being on the line together is going to be devastating to stop. You can almost guarantee that every pass play will be disrupted and teams will have to pass the ball very quickly.

Agree 💯% and with Bosa now in the picture, I don't know if Wilks is going to need to blitz much this season.

All I know is that nick bosa is the best in the world at what he does for a living and is now compensated for it, properly. Nothing to cry about it. Athletes generate billions for their companies/businesses.

it's not like they own Tesla and Twitter, two companies that don't profit, and are the wealthiest man in the world or anything …

I'm excited, Giedi!! This is going to be a blast to watch. I think Jackson is going to be a fun surprise too. Couple that with our newly coached up DBs and I expect a lot of int!

Agreed. These are geniuses at their craft and it's a multi-billion dollar business.

Better them than the owners.

And hey what's our cap space now. I guess that's important too. Although is there anyone out there to sign? Probably not

I think they are barely under the cap right now for this year, and over the cap for next year - so a lot of offseason contract modifications for sure after (hopefully) a successful Super Bowl campaign this season.

Bosa's deal should probably have us with $8M or so in cap space left this year. (His cap hit will most likely be $10M from $17M before the extension). Next year, before Bosa's deal, we were about $20M over the cap. Going to have to do some restructuring and extending, but per AB - it's very doable without losing any of our key players.
Those were AB's theoretical numbers, if I recall correctly. I'd love to see his next article on the actual contract cap hits. What makes all this possible is Brock's insanely cheap QB salary. I"m fully confident that as long as Purdy's on his rookie deal, the 49er core players can be kept together. Once Prudy's rookie deal ends, 49ers better have drafted well because all their depth will be gone when that happens.
