Don't ya just love the numbers game.

it's not like they own Tesla and Twitter, two companies that don't profit, and are the wealthiest man in the world or anything …

Agreed. These are geniuses at their craft and it's a multi-billion dollar business.

Better them than the owners.

I'm all for the players and owners cutting up the pie fairly. No matter what, it's so much money that they're all going to make a lot of money.

if anything, I think football players are underpaid because of the damage they do to their bodies and the risk they take. It's their choice, but football has the worst health impact out of any other big sport in America.

Bosa May end up with brain damage and bad knees by the time he's 40, pay the man. Lol

lost in the bosa news. I'm heading to the hospital to make sure this boner I've had all afternoon isn't dangerous.
Still a,little confused about the contract. Are we getting any cap relief this year? Heard he's still on year 5. What does that mean.

Dude better get like 20 sacks.

I'd settle for Bosa breaking Aldon's sack record!

Bosa's impact extends far beyond just sacks, but with him being adjacent to Hargrave now - I think he will have a chance to bread aldons record. Maybe even 22.5, depending on how we are played.

the key will be for our offense to be high scoring so the other team has to try and keep up, that way we can pin our ears back.

yeah Bosa / Hargrave might be more devastating than Smith / Smith
I think they will be. Justin smith is one of my favorite players of all time, and he was a wrecking ball, but his specialty wasn't getting to the qb. It was more disrupting the play and
Creating opportunities for others - like aldon.

hargrave and bosa are both wrecking balls and awesome pass rushers. It's going to be extremely difficult to stop them and/or double team them. Armstead typically demands a double team as well.

Those three being on the line together is going to be devastating to stop. You can almost guarantee that every pass play will be disrupted and teams will have to pass the ball very quickly.

Agree 💯% and with Bosa now in the picture, I don't know if Wilks is going to need to blitz much this season.

I'm excited, Giedi!! This is going to be a blast to watch. I think Jackson is going to be a fun surprise too. Couple that with our newly coached up DBs and I expect a lot of int!

So far this season is shaping up to be fun, and now with Bosa and Hargrave, they can level up McKivitz, Moore and Zakelj. If these three can handle Hargrave and Bosa, they can handle 99.99% of the NFL D-lines out there.

my impression is this is an extension, so the year 5 deal is on, and the extension kicks in next year.

Most likely lowered his cap hit this year to about $10M, not confirmed yet though.

Unfortunately this is very true. I've met and know players from the 80's & 90's that have all kinds of issues. But most say they don't regret it. Especially the ones that have won SB's.

Ice bath if needed

Very good news indeed.

Hahaha exactly! I know it's difficult cause the teams are so large, but most nfl players should get more guaranteed money because of the health risk. It's tricky to do and tough with a hard salary cap and all that - but it's right by the players. Most football players aren't millionaires and get a late start to their post career, couple the injuries with that… I think it's fair. It's tough to do but there is enough money to go around.

I'd like to see their retirement plans improved, especially for the guys 2000 and before, they didn't make the money these guys can today and didn't get the same health treatment back then. They should get free healthcare and a decent pension, they helped build this behemoth we see today.

At this point, both sides are going to use Sunday's game as leverage for their stance. I see no way Bosa plays Sunday.

I see him coming in and saying where do I sign. This is a guy you have to kick out of the weight room. Some guys you gotta pull the reigns back, this is one of those guys.

But, he's also a Bosa and they stand by their valuations. I think both he and the team are now pot-committed to Sunday without him. He's going to let the evidence on the field, or lack there-of, to show why he's the most valuable defensive player in the league and they're going to try and show why he's the most valuable edge.

So glad I was wrong on this. However, I did say on my show last night that I felt that today was the deadline to get a deal done for Bosa to play Sunday. So, there's that.

it's not like they own Tesla and Twitter, two companies that don't profit, and are the wealthiest man in the world or anything …

Are you high?

I think with what surrounds Bosa, he wins DPOY this year...going away. I think he breaks the sack record too, because Wilks is going to causes concern elsewhere with his aggressiveness, opening up lanes / 1v1 / etc. for Bosa (24 sacks total).

They recently started profiting but didn't for a long time. I actually drive a Tesla. I love it.
