Sorry if late, but it seems it was Nick that got the ball rolling on getting it done.

Read the article with quotes and it sounds like Schefter is speculating entirely and doesn't know s**t.

Yup

Shefter fabricated that s**t out of nowhere.

Shefter has been getting worse and worse in the past few years.

I no longer view him as an authority on anything.
That pic of Bosa getting off the plane....dude looks fantastic.... what a monster. Dude is a prototype physical specimen.

Thinking back to the Bosa vs QW debates before the draft...I think most of our predictions that we had two quality prospects came true....but it is really worth taking a moment to appreciate that we just survived the one major knock on Bosa as a draft prospect.

Bosa is a hold out threat...

That was the biggest fear, and really the only major knock on Bosa.....

We just resolved his biggest flaw, and are moving forward with a reloaded D-line ... headed by the DPOY.

Usually when players hold out, at least in my eyes, you just worry that they won't be as ready as they typically would. Deebo is the perfect example, held out and created distraction - gets paid and is sloppy. Even though I didn't think he looked bad, he didn't look as good as we expected.

With bosa, he's such a freak and so disciplined that I'm not worried about any of that. He's most likely in the best shape of his life and didn't take any days or minutes off. It's really just a matter of making sure he's in game shape but we may get lucky.

he may be even better than normal because he's so fresh. He doesn't have months of bruises and practices on his body.

If I was speculating, I'd say it was absolutely the team that caved. None of the Bosas seem like the caving type, even if that's the story I'd rather believe.
That piece on John Bosa and him was awesome.

Agreed. I'd rather believe it as well, but no way it happened like that. I can see Bosa's team leaking that so our FO can appear to save face, which would be a classy move and a small consolation for the absolute fleecing in guaranteed money.
Honestly, the more I think of it, the more I think Shefter was fed what the Bosa's and 49ers agreed would be the messaging. "Nick, ended it.Came in at the last second and took less to save the season."

Makes Nick look good and saves the franchise the embarrassment of folding and doling out that much in guarantees. Bosa's are happy to get paid, 49ers happy to appear strong and come away with a win (even though they likely folded). Win-win.

To read Nick was miserable for the last 10 days was something, I knew he would be the one to tell his agent to get theb deal done. He just wanted to get back, & be with his teammates. Can't wait for Sunday.

Yeah, just saw it. Thanks!

if anyone didn't see the video posted yesterday of Bosa's mom being interviewed, Google it. If you liked the dads interview - you'll like hers too.

What was that Furlow guy saying about Bosa's agent? Lol. Bosa highest paid defensive player, Burrow highest paid NFL player. Maybe stick to your own job buddy
