Didn't he get a freebie on the muffed snap, where when fell on the dude? He also got gifted one last week where nobody lined up to block him...

I don't know if they credited him with a sack today on that play, or just a TFL.

Hargrave has come up huge on key downs to get sacks

Bosa's seem to come meaningless times or when we are way ahead .. seems like

I wouldn't say that, He had a big strip/sack in the playoffs against the seahawks IIRC that turned the whole game for us.

at this time though we'll welcome any sacks from him.

keeps ettin pressure. When teams hold the ball for more than 2.5 seconds on average he will get more sacks. I feel like all teams are doing is snapping and passing the ball within 10 yards to avoid sack

100%, but as others have said our secondary mostly is not countering this tactic.
Needs to play Catchup with the Sack count during the Dallas game.

i dont mind it it might be "annoying" but if you notice this style of D we are doing with a 2 score lead. We are forcing the other team to burn like 6 minutes just to get to the redzone by keeping everything in front of us.

The D tightens up once we have a 1 score lead

yup, honestly they are wining and the defense isn't not getting torched by any means either. AZ had one very good drive but we played back. I suspect this will improve as I said in the Willks thread and am even wondering if Wilks isn't showing all his cards because he doesn't need to.
Needs a Khalil Mack type of game like yesterday
Bosa has one sack and 7 tackles through 4 games. He also has 10 QB hits/pressures.

For some reason he's not getting home like he did last year and it's not because of double teams. I watched him yesterday and he was often one on one but still could get to the QB. It looked like he was just trying to run over or through the lineman. I wasn't seeing a lot of spins or moves from him. I expected he would have a huge year when they added Hargrave but it's Hargrave that's getting the sacks and pressure.

They gave him the big money. Now he needs to go out and earn it. Hopefully he'll get better as the season goes on.

I think opposing QB's have been mostly lightening quick on getting the ball out, but wait a minute, does he have a girl now? Women weaken legs!

I'm sure the game plan is to get rid of the ball quickly when you play a defense like the Niners. That's pretty common in today's game. Other DEs are getting sacks. Max Crosby of the Raiders. We saw Mack go off yesterday. TJ Watt is getting sacks. All these guys get as much attention as Bosa but they're still getting in there. I'm sure Nick isn't completely happy with the way he's been playing.

I agree, but I am also not worried at this time. I think missing the summer has obviously set him back. The bright side is he did kinda run out of steam during the playoffs. Maybe he is taking it light early on assuming we are primed for another playoff run.

His first two games were like his preseason. He's been good, just doesn't have the sacks to show for it yet. His presence causes QB's to throw before they're ready, so he's still affecting the game.
